The PowerUp Foundation, PA Democratic Black Caucus, WIN With Black Women, and a Coalition of other Women’s organizations, from across Pennsylvania, including Pennsylvania NOW have come together to host a rally to show support for the confirmation of U.S. Supreme Court nominee Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson. The theme for the event is KBJ—The Justice for All.

The event will take place, Saturday, March 26, 2022, starting at 11:00 a.m., outside across from Philadelphia City Hall, at Dilworth Park, on 1, South 15th Street, on the west side of City Hall.

President Biden has kept the commitment he made during his campaign for President and on February 25, 2022, he nominated a Black woman, the Honorable Ketanji Brown Jackson for the Supreme Court, to become the 116th Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court. She is eminently qualified and prepared for this critical lifetime position, and poised to make history as the first Black woman and first Public Defender to ever serve on the Supreme Court. The rally will send a strong message that Pennsylvania’s women want the confirmation process to be fair and swift because people need a champion on the bench who will defend and protect our civil rights, including our right to organize in the workplace.
