Pennsylvania NOW co-sponsored a Roe visibility event Friday with Planned Parenthood, Access Matters, New Voices Philadelphia, Women’s Way, Women’s Medical Fund and many other area pro-choice organizations. Noted civil rights attorney Gloria Allred (currently representing plaintiffs in the Cosby case) spoke to the crowd about her personal ordeal obtaining an abortion before it was legal.

Pennsylvania NOW President Caryn Hunt was there with Philly NOW officers Louise Francis and Samantha Pearson, standing in defense of Roe v. Wade, Planned Parenthood, and access to abortion care and contraception in Philadelphia.

At Penn State, the Ni-Ta-Nee NOW chapter held a vigil in support of Roe, led by chapter president and Pennsylvania NOW Vice-President Michele Hamilton.
