Do workers deserve Paid Sick Time? YES THEY DO!
Join us on Feb 3rd (postponed from 1-27) and let your voice be heard on the Earned Sick Time bill, a bill that would affect 120,000 workers in Philadelphia. 40% of Philadelphia workers do not receive payed sick leave, and 120,000 people would receive the benefits if this law were to pass.
Two times before, Mayor Nutter has vetoed the bill, siding with business interests over the citizens he is supposed to protect. But 2015 will be the year we turn this bill into law.
In order to make the law the strongest possible Council needs to hear from you! Join us to send the message clear and strong, the time for Paid Sick Days is now.

Dos veces antes, el alcalde Nutter ha vetado el proyecto de ley, del lado de los intereses empresariales y no de los ciudadanos que la ciudad debe proteger. Pero 2015 será el año en que nos convertimos este proyecto en ley.
