Where do women stand in Pennsylvania, legally and socially, as workers and as members of communities? What is this ‘war on women’ and what can we do to not only defend women’s rights, but create a more inclusive future for women and for everyone? What can people do to be more feminist? Why would people want to be more feminist anyway?
In this talk, PA NOW Pres Caryn Hunt offers a field guide to the feminist movement, both looking back at history and forward to a time where “person,” as far as the Constitution is concerned, really does include women. She’ll bust some gender-based myths along the way, and, hopefully, convince you that feminists do in fact have a sense of humor.
