When our democracy, access to the ballot, and the independence of our judiciary are under a sustained attack, it is more important than ever to exercise our right to vote in all elections – and all the way down the ballot. Odd year elections matter for our local governments and our state courts. Unlike the federal courts which have suffered in the last four years under the Trump administration to confirm a representative amount of women to the federal benches, voters in the Commonwealth have done a tremendous job electing women to the state courts in the last decade, especially to our three appellate courts. The 2021 municipal election is another opportunity to ensure women have more seats at the table and the benches. This will be presented using Zoom software, on Wednesday, June 30 at 7 PM.
