NOW supports Roe v. Wade, Medicaid coverage of abortions, Funding for comprehensive family planning, and school-based health clinic/distribution of condoms, and full, medically-accurate access to sex education and all contraceptive information.

NOW opposes all restrictions on abortion including the Pennsylvania Abortion Control Act, waiting periods, spousal notification, parental accompaniment/notification, or any restrictions on young women’s decisions whether or not to become a parent.
