On Friday, April 25, the National Organization for Women in Pennsylvania honored six Pittsburgh area leaders with their Fearless Feminists Awards at a reception at the Shadyside home of Scott Cavanaugh and Ron Graham.

Pennsylvania NOW President Caryn Hunt gave awards to Pennsylvania NOW activists Joanne Tosti-Vasey, Pamela Macklin, and Phyllis Wetherby; State Reps. Dan Frankel and Erin Molchany, and New Voices Pittsburgh Co-Founder La’Tasha Mayes. Members of the Host Committee included U.S. Rep. Mike Doyle, Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald, former State Treasurer and Auditor General Barbara Hafer, Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto and Pittsburgh City Councilmember Dan Gilman, Attorney Andrea Geraghty, and Squirrel Hill NOW President Jeanne Clark.
