NOW supports the Pennsylvania Equal Rights Amendment, Affirmative Action, gender balance/gender equity legislation, gay marriage, hate crimes legislation including gender and sexual orientation, and equal civil rights for all.

NOW opposes school vouchers as private schools are not subject to the same degree of accountability and transparency as public schools, and can discriminate.
